HOME OFFICERS RIDE SCHEDULE CONSTITUTION BY-LAWS POST 639

The American Legion Riders is a group that was first formed in the Garden City, Michigan American Legion Post 396 in 1993.  Each Chapter is sponsored by a local American Legion Post and works in conjunction with the post to provide service to the community, state, and nation.  The American Legion Riders are also involved with many charities and veterans issue.

American Legion Riders Chapter 639 was formed in 2006 at American Legion Post 639, Springfield, Missouri.   We participate in parades and other ceremonies that are in keeping with aims and purposes of the American Legion.  We promote motorcycle safety programs and provide a social atmosphere for American Legion Family members who share the same interest.  Members avoid any perception of being a motorcycle or "biker" club or gang.  Rather, the focus of membership is for the enjoyment of motorcycles and comradeship and furthering American Legion programs in the community.

Meetings are held at American Legion Post 639, 2660 S Scenic, Springfield, Missouri on the third Sunday of each month at 6:30 pm.
